A few years ago, I was working at Duluth Trading as the Director of Operations. I was responsible for the daily operations of the company, which meant making sure things got done as efficiently as possible. I was also responsible for developing the company’s internal culture, which meant working with supervisors, clients, employees, and partners to create the company’s values.
I wasn’t responsible for the financial results and I wasn’t responsible for the company values, but I had some responsibility to try get my ideas across. I had a lot of ideas that I wanted to put into practice, but it was hard to get my ideas across to people who didn’t already know them, so I created several different organizations, each with its own mission statement, to try to get my ideas into the hands of people who didn’t know what they were doing.
Its one of the ways in which corporations are able to get their ideas across. They use it to advertise themselves to the world, and get people who were unaware of their businesses’ mission statements to come in and try to implement them. I’m sure you’ve noticed how many ads you see on the web have the words “promote your company.
But if they dont promote your company, then how do they get their ideas across to others? I’m not talking about the typical “I’m a big pizza place and I’d really like to get some people to know about it” type of company promotion.
I think it is probably more important than ever to promote yourself and your business online, but that is not what this post is about. Im talking about your business in the real world. Now that youre doing the work to promote your business online, the way you do it is by getting your ideas across. The best way to get your ideas across, is to get other people to come and try to implement them too.
This is what I mean when I say you need to get other people to come and try to implement your ideas. The way to do this, is by getting them to try to implement them. This is what we call “social proof.” When someone takes the time to read about a product or service, they’re more likely to try it first themselves. And if they can see themselves getting their idea implemented, they’re more likely to do that too.
When we talk about social proof, we’re talking about the fact that people can see how they can get other people to implement their ideas. This is why I think we should encourage others to implement ideas: not just because it’s fun, but because it’ll help us achieve our goals. When we look at a website like Digg, for example, we want to see people implement our ideas too.
That’s why I think the best way to encourage people to implement ideas is either by creating an original idea or by promoting it through social media. I know this sounds contradictory, but that’s because it’s true. When you look at a website like Digg, you want to see that other people are implementing your ideas too. And when you look at Digg’s current users, they are all implementing their ideas, too. I mean, duh.
Yeah, there are a lot of people out there who will implement any idea. However, I think the best way to encourage people to actually implement an idea is to let them know that they are supported and that they can always go back and see if there was something that they missed. Otherwise, it’s just people saying “I just implemented this” or “I implemented that” without any real evidence that they were able to do so.
