By This puzzle was a fun one to do and as always we got lots of ideas from the board. We decided to go with one that was more of a “short crossword clue” style, so we went with “Trades place for short crossword clue”.

I think the crossword clue puzzle is a very good example of what a game could be if it had more options. The game is very linear and contains some pretty good clues. I think that if you added more options for players to break the puzzle, you would have a much more enjoyable game.
The best option to break the crossword clue puzzle is to play the puzzle on its own. If you get stuck, you can always restart it. For the rest of us, a game is a game if we are interested in playing it. We don’t have to be interested just to play it.
I don’t want to be a jerk but I have to say that I’d rather see more options for players to break a crossword. It’s not like I would be able to beat a crossword on its own if I didn’t have some other game to break the clue.
