By the first of my three levels of self-awareness is the trading post tron, or the feeling of having control of a situation. We all feel like we have control over situations, whether it is a car, a job, a relationship, or something else.
When you trade, you trade your own time for goods or money. You can win or lose money depending on the trader’s needs. Trading is a way to get something you can’t, or get something you’ve wanted.
Trading is one of the most complex and difficult ways of getting something you need. Often you will find companies out there who want to do business with you. These companies will want to come to you and they will want you to come to them. So you will buy and sell things in a marketplace. It is a way to get things you want or need, but it is not a way to get what you want.
The idea is that you will buy something from someone and you will give that something to that person. However, you will never give the person anything that belongs to you. You will never receive anything of value. It is a way to get something you need or that you want, but it isnt a way to get what you want.

In our new story trailer, our main character Colt Vahn is trying to deal with the fact that his memory of the past is fuzzy. So he wants to trade with someone to get a new memory chip to help him remember who he is and what he’s doing on the island. When he’s trading with someone though he gets the idea that he is “getting something”. But he isnt getting anything. He gets that one thing he wants. But he’s still not receiving anything.
The reason he’s not getting anything is not because he is not winning. It is because he is trading for something he doesn’t have. By trading with someone, he does not get himself something he wants but simply gets something he wants someone else to have. For example, if you trade for a video game controller, you get the controller you want, but you also get your friend the controller they want.
Trading for something you dont have, like a video game controller, is like trading for a house, only worse because you have no house.
So is it possible to trade for something you don’t have? Yes. But if you want to trade for something you dont have, you must first get that something you dont have.
Think of it this way: if you wanted to exchange a video game controller for a house, you would go to the store to get your house and then you would go to the store to get your video game controller. As you both go to the store, you exchange goods. But you cant have the video game controller if you dont have the house.
